As we head into the autumn watch out for more dancing – and fun-filled arts activities and dance classes coming up.

DANCE CLASSES FOR PEOPLE AGED 50+
SAMUEL BECKETT CIVIC CAMPUS, BALLYOGAN

TUESDAYS: 24 September to 15 October & 19 November to 3 December       
TIME: 2.30 – 3.45pm
Put a spring in your step – come along and dance to all kinds of music, get creative and stay active with this new, weekly dance class for people ages 50+ at Galescoil Shliabh Rua. The class is free of charge with no experience necessary. Wear loose comfortable clothing and rubber soled shoes, all welcome! A big thank you to Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua for opening their doors to the older members of the community.

DANCE BOOGIE WORKSHOP FOR ALL THE FAMILY

Open to all the family – parents, carers, grans and grandads, we invite you to find your feet, throw a few shapes and dance! There’ll be R n B, Rock n Roll music and more, come join us!

DANCE SOCIAL
SANDYFORD COMMUNITY CENTRE, DUBLIN 18

FRIDAY 11 October
TIME: 7-9.00pm
This DANCE SOCIAL for the older generation is set to be a great night out! With a DJ playing some of the best tracks from the 1960’s and 70’s, it will surely get you in the swing and up on the dance floor. Organised by the Community & Cultural Development Department of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council as part of The Festival of Inclusion, this lively event includes a short performance by fabulous dance duo EBB & FLO’ and a Jazz – inspired dance sequence for all to join in, led by participants from the EXIT 15 dance class for ages 50+.

POP UP DANCES IN BALLYOGAN

Keep an eye for two stylish dancers, Ebb & Flo’! They’ll be popping up in mini dance performances in different places in the Ballyogan area. Here and there, indoors and outdoorsup and down, they will be somewhere near you. Once you see Ebb & Flo’ dancing, you’ll just have to join in!
